It can feel a little scary to step inside a new church – especially if you don't
know what to expect, or you've been away from church for a long time,
or maybe never even been to church much at all. So what's it really
like to spend a Sunday morning with us? At Holy Trinity, it's like home.
The coffee's on
before we worship and afterwards. Sunday School is at 9:30 A.M. – September through May; and our worship service is at 10:15 A.M. – with
Coffee and Fellowship in the Community Life Center (complete with tasty treats) afterward.
Wear whatever feels comfortable for you – you'll see everything from
sport coats and ties to blue jeans.
A worship bulletin is provided which has printed the order of worship
for the day. Newcomers to the Lutheran worship liturgy are able to
follow along easily and to join in the congregation's hymns and
responses.
Children are welcomed and encouraged to join in worship, though we
always provide nursery care for times when parents want help. Pastor
Percy offers a children's sermon every Sunday, inviting kids to join
him to talk about our Bible lesson. Children's worship bags with quiet
activities are available in the narthex as soon as you enter the
church.
We offer Holy Communion every Sunday, and invite all those who
worship with us to share the Lord's Supper.
Both our music and Pastor's sermons are upbeat and uplifting, grounded
in Scripture yet geared to meet the needs of daily life!
At Holy Trinity you don't have to have it all figured out – your
questions, doubts and mistakes are as welcome as you are.
